    Just be Yourself

    It isn´t necessary to be perfect to be a channel for the universe. You just have to be real. Be yourself. The more honest and spontaneous you are, the more freely the creative force can flow through you. As it does, it cleans out the remnants of old blockages.     Practice Listening

    It takes practice to hear and trust your intuition. The more you do it, the easier it will become. Eventually, you will be in touch with your intuitive feelings much of the time. Ask yourself questions. Know that the wise being within you, an incredible source of power and strength, is available to answer your questions and guide you.     Intuition Meditation

    Get in a comfortable position, sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and relax. Take several deep, slow, long breaths, and as you exhale each time, imagine relaxing your body and relaxing your mind. Then imagine moving your awareness into a very deep place inside you – deep in your solar plexus or your belly. Keep going deeper until you find a quiet resting place inside. Imagine that in that deep space, you contact your inner truth. Ask if there is a message for you or something you need to know or remember. Or ask a specific question. Then relax and feel or ´listen´ to what comes to you. It may be a thought, a feeling, or an image. Just receive whatever comes. Don´t try to figure it out with your mind, or you will block the process. If it seems like nothing happens, don´t worry about it. Practice this regularly in a relaxed way, and you will begin to feel in touch with your intuition.

    Observe Your Inner Dialogue

    Anyone who has practiced meditation knows how difficult it can be to quiet our ¨mind talk¨ in order to connect with our deeper, wise, intuitive mind. One traditional meditation practice is to simply observe the inner dialogue as objectively as possible. This is a valuable experience that allows you to become aware of the types of thoughts you habitually think. Many of these thoughts come from programming we picked up long ago, which is still influencing us. Once we recognize these thought patterns, we can begin to change old habits. We can tell the difference between the limiting, habitual mind talk and the voice of our inner guidance.

    Distinguishing intuition
