    At times, fantasies can tell us how we really want to be expressing ourselves. We sometimes have a strong sense of what we would like to do, yet we take up a very different career. We feel we need a career that is more practical or will gain the approval of our parents or the world.

    In the past we have felt it was impossible to do what we really wanted. We are now seeing that when we do what we really want, we gain our own approval. We experience our own vitality and freedom. Today we can risk exploring things that really turn us on.

    It does not always help to think about or analyze problems with your rational mind. Sometimes it is far more effective to turn to your inner guidance, to ask the higher power of the universe for help. Simply sit quietly. Take a few deep breaths and focus your awareness within. Ask your inner wisdom, either silently or aloud, for guidance or help in solving the problem. You may or may not get an immediate answer. Go about your life, but stay open and pay attention to your gut feelings. As you get a sense of what feels right, act on this feeling.

    Follow your creative energy

    Our Guiding Force

    Once we acknowledge the higher power of the universe, the obvious question arises – “How can we contact this power, or gain access to it?” The knowingness that resides in each of us can be accessed through what we call intuition. By learning to contact, listen to, and act on our intuition, we can directly connect to the higher power of the universe and allow it to become our guiding force.

    Write down all your negative beliefs, thoughts, and fears about sex. When you have done that, close your eyes and see yourself turning your fears or negative beliefs over to your higher power. Take a deep breath and relax. When this exercise feels complete, write correlative affirmations to help you counteract the negative beliefs that you have listed. Use these affirmations regularly. If you have deep fears or blocks that don’t seem to be healing, let your intuition guide you in finding a good therapist or support group to help you. Imagine yourself and your life free from these old beliefs and flowing with loving energy.

    Our relationships are channels

    I move toward people I love because I want the intensification I experience with them. I feel the universe moving through me to them and moving through them to me.
