    At times, fantasies can tell us how we really want to be expressing ourselves. We sometimes have a strong sense of what we would like to do, yet we take up a very different career. We feel we need a career that is more practical or will gain the approval of our parents or the world.

    In the past we have felt it was impossible to do what we really wanted. We are now seeing that when we do what we really want, we gain our own approval. We experience our own vitality and freedom. Today we can risk exploring things that really turn us on.

    We begin very early to develop habits that run counter to our natural energy, habits that are designed to help us survive in the neurotic world in which we find ourselves. Through becoming aware of them, we take the first and most important step toward changing them.

    Young children are often our clearest mirrors because, as intuitive beings, they are tuned in on a feeling level and respond honestly to every situation. They haven’t learned to cover up their feelings yet. When we as adults do not speak or behave according to what we are actually feeling, children pick up the discrepancy immediately and react to it. Watching their reactions can help us become more aware of our own suppressed feelings.

Children, particularly, always pick up, energetically, their parents´ problems, issues, or patterns and perpetuate them in their own lives. If the parent heals on the emotional level, he or she will pass that legacy on to the children, who will not have to deal with the same issues in their own lives.
    This is true whether or not your children are grown.     Our relationships are channels

    I move toward people I love because I want the intensification I experience with them. I feel the universe moving through me to them and moving through them to me.
